ICLT needs English Language Tutors

TITLE:  English Language Tutor

TERM:  Full time

START DATE/ TIME:  ASAP

DURATION:  Long term

LOCATION:  Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION:  ICLT is seeking competent and enthusiastic English language tutors for full-time and long-term position, who will be willing to take part in one month intensive teacher training prior to employment.

JOB  RESPONSIBILITIES:

·    teaching English and classroom management;

·    planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups;

·    preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises;

·    marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work;

·    devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources;

·    organising and getting involved in social and cultural activities arranged within ICLT such as discussion clubs, study groups, workshops, etc.

·    conducting diagnostic interviews for new applicants;

·    participating in marketing and promotional events for the school;

·    contributing to school improvement and team work;

·    maintaining day-to-day paperwork (e.g. keeping student registers and attendance records for starters and leavers).

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

·         Energetic and highly motivated personality;

·         Excellent language competence;

·         Excellent communication skills;

·         Availability of an internationally recognized teaching certificate is a plus;

·         Good computer skills;

·         Readiness to work under pressure
